'My paintings are a colourful and expressive evocation of an extravagant and abundant nature. How splendid is our beautiful planet, Gaia-growing expanding, contracting, dancing, singing in endless rhythmic cycles. She is our cradle, our beginning and our ending. Light into colour and sound. This is what I want to capture on my canvases, and I hope they open up to you the great Cosmos. Let us cherish her, dance with her, sing with her, bringing forth creativity, union and harmony. Let these pulses of Life block out the cacophany of modern making so that we may, in a positive and creative way solve the problems of our blighted civilization. Let us envelop ourselves in cascades of a dancing and singing nature so that it may overflow to others, ever expanding and so healing our precious land'. the artist 1994
