Pam Tippett is well known for her still life paintings painted in a realist style stemming from the classical nineteenth century tradition. Through studying at Studio Simi in Florence between 1977 and 1980 reinforced her interest to continue in this style.
Tippett grew up in Lismore and was a student of Michael Taylor. Her subjects include portraiture and landscape and in her recent career Tippett has come to focus on still life painting.
